Congressman McEachin Offered Congratulations and Words of Advice at Eagle Scout Ceremony
RICHMOND – Congressmen A. Donald McEachin (VA-04) attended the Eagle Scout Court of Honor Ceremony for three gentlemen on Saturday afternoon. Rep. McEachin who is a proud Eagle Scout himself, offered words of congratulations, encouragement, and advice to the young men receiving recognition for their hard work and determination required to receive this prestigious award.
“Achieving the rank of Eagle Scout is a momentous accomplishment, and I am so proud to witness the moment when three young men achieved their long-term goal of receiving their Eagle Scout honor,” said Congressman McEachin (VA-04). “It is wonderful to see so many young men devoted to improving our community. I am so proud of these gentlemen and their accomplishments.”
Earning the title of “Eagle Scout” is a challenging task that requires years of dedication, determination, and commitment. In addition to the required 21 merit badges, each Eagle Scout must complete extensive service projects within their communities.
