McEachin Announces $133,000 Housing Grant

Petersburg, Va. – Congressman A. Donald McEachin (VA-04) announced an award that will benefit his constituents within the Fourth Congressional District. The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded $133,040 to Petersburg Redevelopment and Housing Authority to prevent terminations due to insufficient funding, that is, shortfall funding.

“I am excited and pleased to see these monies come into the district,” said Congressman Donald McEachin. “Ensuring that people have decent housing must be a priority. I am pleased to be able to announce resources that will improve lives and make a difference.”
