McEachin Calls on EPA Administrator Pruitt to Resign

April 5, 2018
Press Release

Richmond, Va. – Congressman A. Donald McEachin (VA-04) issued this statement on Administrator Scott Pruitt’s performance as the leader of the Environmental Protection Agency:

“When Administrator Pruitt is not wasting our tax dollars on his luxury first class flights or spending thousands building a 'secure phone booth,' he is consistently advocating for the best outcome for industry lobbyists and his landlord by removing regulations, undermining protections, and altogether putting our environment and our future in peril. Enough is enough. Public health and a sustainable future are at stake while Mr. Pruitt disregards the EPA’s promise to the American people to protect human health and the environment. I call on Mr. Pruitt to resign because Americans cannot and should not be the victim of his abuse of power. Pruitt has failed and needs to vacate the office immediately.”
