McEachin is ‘Deeply Concerned’ about Quality, Expediency of Mail Delivery in his District
WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman A. Donald McEachin (VA-04) sent a letter to Postmaster General Brennan requesting more information about how to best resolve USPS’ mail delivery issues in the 4th Congressional District. Constituents have expressed concerns about late deliveries, problems sending and receiving mail, receiving other people’s mail, or mail never arriving.
“Individuals and businesses rely on the USPS to meet countless needs; it is imperative that mail delivery services be reliable and timely,” wrote Congressman Donald McEachin (VA-04). “I understand that staffing and labor cuts have placed heavy burdens on the hard-working mail carriers in the Richmond area. It is critical that we provide USPS workers with the resources they need to effectively perform their duties, and I am committed to doing my part.”
Congressman McEachin said about his correspondence to USPS, "Individuals rely on the mail services of the USPS to conduct their personal, and commercial business. Mail delivery services need to be accurate and expedient."
