McEachin Statement on Tehama County Shooting

WASHINGTON – Congressman A. Donald McEachin (VA-04) issued this statement following the shooting in northern California:

“The shooting and random killings demonstrate, yet again that we cannot wait to enact commonsense legislation to address the kind of loopholes exposed by the recent mass shootings in Las Vegas, Sutherland Springs, and now Tehama County. I am working on legislation to help close such loopholes because the time to do it was before now. I hope that my colleagues across the aisle will not block gun violence prevention legislation crafted solely to save innocent American lives.”
