Responding to Congressman McEachin, USPS Instituting Steps to Improve Mail Delivery

RICHMOND – Congressman A. Donald McEachin (VA-04) received a response to his letter written to Postmaster General Brennan on July 21st, expressing his concerns about the timeliness of local mail delivery.

Responding to my expressed concerns, USPS outlined steps they are taking to alleviate the problems. These steps included the hiring of additional carriers, a change to clerk schedules and initiated their ‘accuracy of delivery program.’ I appreciate the prompt actions and response and hope that these fixes will ensure better results in the future. However, I encourage Richmonders to contact my office if they continue to experience systematic problems,” said Congressman Donald McEachin (VA-04).
